We were presented with a 3.5m by 5m box to create a functional and stylish apartment for rental. Despite its small size, a lot of time went into the design of the flat. We needed to make sure that we were maximising usable space, whilst still making the flat comfortable for living. A very small bathroom, a straight kitchen, infra-panel heating and a dividing wall for the bedroom all feature in this design.

02. Kitchen Design
A straight run, with small appliances make up this minimalist kitchen design. IKEA was the obvious choice for a low-cost stylish kitchen, but we added smaller Whirpool appliances in order to maximise cupboard space.

03. Light
& Shadow
The two large windows provide ample lighting in the apartment. When it gets dark you have a great selection of spotlights and pendants to create the right mood.
